Pilgrimage Fundraiser to Spain and Portugal
Financial Benefit - $25,000
This benefit is contingent on 50 full paying pilgrims paying $2,989 per person of which $500 per person will be donated to your church or project (50 x $500 = $25,000).
The Program - 2019
A 7 day/5 night pilgrimage to Fátima and Santiago de Compostela led by the priest or group organizer.
Day 1 – Departure for Lisbon from JFK, Newark, Boston, or Miami on TAP AirPortugal
Day 2 – Arrive Lisbon – head for Fátima via Santarém (Eucharistic Miracle)
Day 3 – Fátima
Day 4 – On to Santiago de Compostela
Day 5 – Santiago
Day 6 – Back to Lisbon
Day 7 – Return to your departure city

The price of this program is based on a $700 airfare, a 1.20 euro/dollar, and 50 paying participants. The program includes one free trip for every 25 paying pilgrims. Space is limited to 50 paying pilgrims.

Cancellations between February 1, and April 30 will incur a $750 per person penalty. Cancellations after April 30 – no refund.

July 6 – July 13, 2018
July 6: Day 1 – Departure
Depart for Lisbon, Portugal from Newark Airport on TAP Portugal 104 at 5:55 pm. Please be at the airport at least three hours prior to departure. Dinner and breakfast served on board.
July 7: Day 2 – Lisbon - Santarem – Fátima
Upon arrival, we will be met and transferred to Fátima. En route we will stop in Santarem where the “miracle of the Bleeding Heart” will be viewed. Afterwards, continue on to Fátima for lunch. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest and to visit the shrine on our own. We will celebrate the Eucharist with Father Jonathan Pérez. Dinner and overnight at the four star Hotel Estrela de Fátima.
July 8: Day 3 – Fátima
Breakfast. Some of the highlights of today’s visit will include the Capelinha (chapel of the Apparitions) and the Basilica, which contains the tombs of Jacinta, Francisco, and Sister Lucia. We will also visit the village of Aljustrel where the three children who witnessed the apparitions of the Blessed Mother were born. A visit to Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared in 1917, and the parish church where the children were baptized will also be included. After mass we will have lunch. In the evening, we will participate in the candlelight procession and evening rosary. Dinner and overnight.
July 9: Day 4 – Fátima – Pontevedra – Santiago de Compostela
After mass we have breakfast and depart for Pontevedra, Spain for lunch. Afterwards, continue on to the city of Saint James the Apostle – Santiago de Compostela. In the evening we will have a walking tour of this medieval city. Dinner and overnight at the four star Hotel Compostela.
July 10: Day 5 – El Camino de Santiago – The Way of Saint James
Breakfast. After mass we will tour the Cathedral of Saint James with its relics of the apostle. The afternoon is free to explore this enchanting city on our own. Dinner and overnight.
July 11: Day 6 – Santiago – Braga – Lisbon
After mass and breakfast we head on to Braga, Portugal to visit the Holy Mountain of Sameiro, a very important Marian shrine. Also, visit Bom Jesus do Monte a sanctuary dedicated to the Good Jesus of the Mountain. After lunch, we continue on to Lisbon for dinner and overnight at the Hotel Vila Rica.
July 12: Day 7 – Lisbon
Breakfast. Morning city tour seeing St. George’s castle, the Cathedral, Rossio Square, the Alfama, the Bélem Tower, Jerónimo’s Monastery, the Tagus River, and much more. After lunch, the afternoon is free for shopping. In the evening we will have mass followed by dinner and overnight.
July 13: Day 8 – Departure

Price: $2,989 per person
There is no triple reduction and triples usually mean a cot is added to a double room. Quads are not available. No senior or children discount. The single supplement is $300 per person.

I (we) wish to participate in the Pilgrimage. Enclosed is my (our) deposit check for $250 per person.
I (we) understand that a second payment of $1,250 is due on March 6, 2014, and that the final payment is due no later than April 30, 2014. Please make all check to Bravo Tours and send them to Bravo tours, 41 Ridgefield Road, Warwick, NY 10990.
I (we) also understand that I (we) may withdraw from the program by March 5, 2014 without incurring penalties. Between March 6 and April 29 cancellations will incur a 4200 per person penalty. Cancellations after May 1, 2-014 will be entitled to no refund or credit.
US citizens only require a US passport valid up to 6 months after July 13, 2104. All other pilgrims that are not US citizens are responsible for possible their own visa entry requirements.
