Bravo Tours offers programs that are designed to provide teachers and their students with truly unique cultural experiences. All our programs are customized to meet your needs, please see below a sampling of some of our fantastic itineraries.
Day 1 – Departure
Evening departure. Dinner and breakfast served on board.
Day 2 – Madrid
Upon arrival, you are met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and lodging.
Day 3 – Madrid + Prado
Breakfast. Morning tour of Madrid including the Prado Museum. In the afternoon, relax, shop, or see other places of interest. Dinner and lodging.
Day 4 – Avila and Segovia
Breakfast. Tour of Avila, the birthplace of St. Teresa, where you will visit the Temple, the Convent, and the Cathedral. Then, on to Segovia to see its Aqueduct and Alcázar. Lunch is included. Return to Madrid for dinner and lodging.
Day 5 – Cooking Class – El Escorial
Breakfast. In the morning you will go to the market to purchase the ingredients to make paella or tapas. Return to the kitchen for a hands-on experience – teams of 2 or 3 will work together under the guidance of a professional chef.
Then, once the cooking class is finished, you will go to another room to eat what you just prepared. In the afternoon, you will visit el Escorial, the 16th century monastery-palace. Return to Madrid for dinner and lodging.
Day 6 – Toledo
Breakfast. Upon arrival in Toledo, you will visit the Cathedral, Santo Tomé Church, where you will see El Greco’s “The Burial of Count Orgaz.” Visit the Synagogue, a damasquinado factory, and see the famous view. Afternoon return to Madrid. Dinner and lodging.
Day 7 – Flamenco + Tapas
Breakfast. Today, on your own, you may enjoy churros y chocolate at San Ginés, eat lunch at Casa Mingo, and then visit la Ermita de San Antonio, or take a boat ride in Retiro Park. In the evening you will see a Flamenco Show and have a tapas dinner. Lodging.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Day 2 – Málaga
Upon arrival, you are met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and lodging.
Day 3 – Málaga & Picasso
Breakfast. In the morning see the Calle Larios, la Manquita – the Cathedral, the Castillo de Gibraltar, the Moorish fortress – the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater, and the Picasso Museum. Free afternoon to discover the charms of Málaga. Dinner and lodging
Day 4 – Úbeda and Baeza
After breakfast, visit the province of Jaen to see the monuments of Úbeda and Baeza, visit an olive oil museum, and a recently discovered synagogue. Return to Málaga for dinner and lodging.
Day 5 – Mijas
Breakfast. Afternoon visit to the white washed Andalusian village of Mijas. After a stroll through the typical narrow streets, you may decide to take a burro taxi-ride. Dinner and lodging.
Day 6 – Granada
Breakfast. Full day to Granada to see the Alhambra, the Generalife Gardens, the Cathedral, and the tomb of Fernando and Isabel. Return to Málaga for dinner and lodging.
Day 7 – Flamenco and Tapas
Breakfast. Free day. If you are a coffee lover, you may wish to go to la Plaza de la Constitición and stop at el Café Central – a real delight! For fish lovers – stop at a chiringuito for calamares fritos, espetos de sardinas, or boquerones en vinagre. In the evening you will see a Flamenco Show and have a tapas dinner. Lodging.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Day 2 - Barcelona
Upon arrival, you are met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and lodging.
Day 3 –Barcelon
Breakfast. Morning panoramic tour seeing the Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter, Plaza Sant Jaume, Olympic Village, Port Olympic, views from Montjuich, and the Poble Espanyol. Dinner and lodging.
Day 4 – Gaudí and Picasso
Breakfast. See Casa Batlló, la Pedrera, la Sagrada Familia, and stop at Parc Guell. Visit the Picasso Museum. Dinner and lodging.
Day 5 – Dalí Museum
Breakfast. Depart to see the Dalí Museum in his hometown of Figueras. Then, on to the walled city of Gerona to see the Jewish Quarter and the Roman and Moorish influences. Dinner and lodging in Barcelona.
Day 6 – Montserrat
Breakfast. Morning visit to the Royal Basilica at Montserrat and the Moreneta – the patron saint of Cataluña. If time allows, hear the famous boys choir. Dinner and lodging in Barcelona.
Day 7 – Tarragona and Sitges – Flamenco and Tapas
Breakfast. Drive to the Roman city of Tarragona, see the aqueduct, the Old Quarter, and the Cathedral. Then, on to the fishing village of Sitges with its white washed houses and beautiful beaches. Flamenco Show, dinner and lodging in Barcelona.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Day 6 – Cooking Class – Toledo

Morning panoramic tour seeing la Plaza de España, la Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Cibeles, la Puerta de Alcalá, la Plaza Mayor, and a visit to the Prado Museum.
In the afternoon, you will go to the market to purchase the ingredients to make paella or tapas. Return to the kitchen for a hands-on experience – small teams will work together under the guidance of a professional chef. Dinner and lodging.
Day 4 – Córdoba – Sevilla
Breakfast. Depart Madrid for Córdoba. Walk through the old town and visit the Mezquita. After, on to Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia. Dinner and lodging.
Day 5 - Sevilla
Breakfast. Morning visit of the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Alcázar, its gardens, and the Santa Cruz Quarters. Afternoon free to walk along the paths of beautiful María Luisa Park. Dinner and lodging.
Day 6 – Málaga
Breakfast. Depart for the city of Banderas and Picasso. Visit the Calle Larios, la Manquita – the Cathedral, the Moorish fortress – the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater, and the Picasso Museum. Dinner and lodging.
Day 7 – Granada
Breakfast. Your morning is free to enjoy the charming city of Málaga. In the afternoon, on to Granada to visit the Alhambra, the Generalife Gardens, and the Cathedral. Dinner and lodging.

Breakfast. Then to Consuegra to see the iconic windmills made famous in Don Quijote. Continue on to Spain’s 3rd largest city – Valencia. See the Cathedral and el Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas. Stop to drink an horchata – a tasty drink. This evening you will have a paella dinner at a local restaurant. Lodging.
Day 7 – La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias
Breakfast. Morning visit to la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias – a fantastic interactive center. In the afternoon, you are free to explore this beautiful city. Dinner and lodging.
Day 8 – Cuenca – Ciudad Encantada – Flamenco and Tapas
Breakfast. Depart Valencia for Cuenca to see its famous Casas Colgadas – the hanging houses. Then, on to la Ciudad Encantada – the Enchanted City – an area where the one viewing the rock formations can see faces or animals or whatever one’s imagination allows. After, on to Madrid for a Flamenco Show and a Tapas dinner. Lodging.
Day 9 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Breakfast. Depart for the medieval city of Évora. See its Roman Temple, the Capela dos Ossos (Bone Chapel), and central square. After, on to Portugal’s capital – Lisbon for dinner and lodging.
Day 8 – Lisbon and Fado
Breakfast. This morning’s sightseeing will include St. George’s Castle, the Alfama, the Belem Tower, and the Jeronimos Monastery. Your afternoon is free to wander this fantastic city. Evening Fado Show with dinner. Lodging
Day 9 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
